Content Introduction

The competition in the game market is getting more and more fierce, and boutique game products are going to be the general trend. Large-scale boutique game development faces a series of problems: more staff and high cost; increasingly complex interactions; low sense of value of designers, etc. In such an industry background, the design team is also constantly meeting new challenges. The "we" is always more important than any individual. While it is possible to design on an individual basis, the complexity of today's games is quickly pushing this approach to the edge. The team approach has been the standard model in graphic design and architecture for many years, and the same is true in the game industry.

In this workshop, we will answer how we can address and solve these problems through theory and examples from the perspective of an experience design team. Ultimately, we have used this lean design management model to help several products achieve both word-of-mouth and commercial success, and to help teams grow through the opportunity to follow up on great projects, and even play a role in driving the industry ecology. This workshop will allow the audience to learn about targeted solutions to design management problems, as well as ways for design teams to carry out lean design management and multi-business linkage.
