Content Introduction

As enterprises are increasingly dependent on technology, user experience design of ToB products will become many enterprises’ main competition edge. As ToB products feature a huge volume of businesses, complex functions, high professionalism, function orientation, centralized demands and quick iteration, more attention will be paid to product effectiveness. While ToB products involve more and more people, it’s better to complete the design via systematic organization and following an established workflow to ensure more efficient business and design development, organized arrangement and advancement.

By summarizing the design of Baidu ERP system products and that of over 200 backstage products of multiple business lines, the workshop will sort out and build backstage products design systems, share the processes of and ideas on system building and, in light of actual businesses, explain how to start with the core demand of promoting efficiency to design rigidly-structured, normative and unified framework systems to realize product design, development and operation in a modular way so as to promote the efficiency of product design and development. Meanwhile, practical designs will be taken as examples to explain how to promote efficiency based on the guidance of backstage products design system and on the success of it in real products.

By developing and using the design components database and constructing the design thinking and paths, this workshop aims to develop work methods that will promote team design efficiency and development efficiency, help designers take into consideration user experience basis and, supplemented with business mining, dig products’ differentiated advantages from convergent representations in light of business scenes and user characteristics so as to concretely resolve problems and design products to user’s satisfaction.
