Engaged in exchanges with top design teams in Silicon Valley, actively exploring various domains such as user experience and user research, staying updated on the latest design trends and methodologies, resulting in innovative and localized design solutions and superior user experiences. Design Philosophy: Minimalism where design and emotion converge.
In light of the rapid growth of DiDi's international business, the proliferation of various services has led to inconsistencies in user experiences and brand perception. It is imperative for us to establish design guidance and an experience-centric international design system to comprehensively steer design directions, elevate user experiences, and cultivate a consistent international product experience that embodies the unique DiDi experience.
To achieve this, we have developed a comprehensive design system. We metaphorically liken the user experience to a living organism and the international environment to a natural ecosystem, aiming to establish a unified, interconnected, and sustainable development cycle for user experiences in the international context. This design system encompasses seven key aspects:
1.Design Philosophy and Principles: Uniformly establish experience design principles based on the needs of international users, providing guidance for the design team's practices.
2.Design Guidelines: Concrete methods for design implementation based on the established principles.
3.Design Insights: Localization insights based on the established principles.
4.Systematic Brand Construction: Establishing a complete Global-One brand system to achieve brand consistency across online and offline experiences.
5.Experience Shaping: Comprehensive experience shaping through interaction design, visual styles, information architecture, and other aspects based on DiDi's international brand positioning and established principles.
6.Design Tools: Establish standardized design toolkits such as UI component libraries, interaction pattern libraries, visual style guides, etc., ensuring consistency in experiences across different businesses and regions.
7.Design Evaluation: Based on unified experience perception, validate, optimize, and refine experience design continuously, to ensure consistent user experience perception throughout the entire journey.
Through the these seven aspects, we will establish a complete and unified international experience design system, enabling users to perceive consistent brand value and exceptional experiences across various business scenarios. This will serve as a crucial foundation supporting DiDi's internationalization strategy. The workshop will focus on these seven key aspects, assisting participants in mastering localization insight methodologies, understanding platform systemic thinking, and how to implement experience validation thinking.
