From User Research to Interaction Design--Challenge and Practice(C6)

Workshop Introduction:

There is some one ask what is interaction design frequently. What is your explanation?
The marketing departments use sales figure, the product managers use click figure, but what do the interaction designers will use to decide?
After the user research , is not the products design modified yet?
How should the interaction designers use the data and result to bring the real feedback of users to the product design?
How to make your product managers, marketing department, developing team understand your work and then reach a consensus with you?
It is not strange for you to come across the problems above. You can come across the problems in the USA and in Hong Kong, too.

So I will share my experiences in this workshop.

Personal Introduction

User Research Director , Tencent

Currently, Huang is the user research director of ISUX research and development design center in Tencent. Formerly, he was the interaction designer of Yahoo HongKong which belongs to Yahoo's global search team, taking charge of the user experience research and design of search products. He also worked at an interaction advertisement company called e-Crusade whose clients include HSBC, PCCW and COca-Cola, taking charge of user experience planning.
