Are today's designers and design firms aware of the challenges of the new business environment? How many of you are fully prepared for this?
Our designers learn knowledge and experience from the traditional business and economic environment, that is, a relatively stable and clear environment. In this traditional system, the profession, function, division of labor and purpose of design are relatively clear. These knowledge and experience are not enough to face the new business environment. Volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity are the hallmarks of today's business environment, as well as of what we call the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
What is the design required for a business within the startup ecosystem? Through a series of studies, we present the shortcomings of existing design services and design capabilities in the face of these challenges, and also point out the direction of the new generation of designers.
Through the international design ladder model, we compare the different requirements of design roles in the two business environments with specific data, and intuitively outline the new development goals of design for everyone.
1、Understand the challenges of the new business environment
2、Improve the ability of design service
3、Outline the new development goals of the design
